The Netduino, Part III

One of the more intriguing possibilities for new microcontroller systems such as the Netduino and Arduino is using them for acquiring and logging experimental data. In the previous post in our examination of the Netduino, I reviewed the fundamentals of the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) bus which is a common system for transferring data between a microcontroller and peripheral devices. In this installment we’ll move to a concrete example of using the Netduino to read data from a MAX6675 thermocouple amplifier. Continue reading…
